I am Cézanne from DP 1 and last year I participated in Odyssey Momentum along with 4 other ISG/Maartenscollege students. Odyssey Momentum is an annual event with over 2000 participants from around the world, where teams of six have 49 hours to solve real-life problems provided by private and government organizations. My team tackled a problem given to us by the Dutch Police Department and ended up getting first place, receiving 2500 euros in prize money. This experience gave me the opportunity to develop my communication skills through reaching out to numerous specialists in order to get the most plausible solution possible. It also developed my organizational and teamworking skills as my team had to divide the tasks and time efficiently to get results in the short time given. I look forward to participating in this event this year, hopefully in person rather than online. For more information visit https://www.odyssey.org/momentum/
